About Me

I started writing when I was six years old. I wrote a story about a cat, a dog, and a bear hunting ghosts. It was the mid 1980's and The Ghostbusters were all the craze. 

I graduated from Lighthouse Writers' Book Project in August 2024 under the guidance of the wonderful Tiffany Quay Tyson. I'm working on publishing a collection of short stories titled Things to Pack When Moving to Venus. The collection contains eight stories dealing with issues of identity and how we find our chosen family. Most of the stories are told from a queer perspective. As a queer person myself, and also an immigrant, I've had to find my family and my home more than once. 

I was recently a 2026 Periplus Fellow finalist, and got my first short story published. You can find the link for that story under the "Writing" tab.
